This role is designed for a proactive professional with a strong commitment to excellence and a firm understanding of quality management systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, preferably in food, and be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Quality Manager, you will be tasked with the following duties:1. Develop and implement quality management strategy and plans, including resource, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the organization's annual business plan and long term strategy.2. Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.3. Monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.4. Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created/maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems.5. Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.6. Plan and manage the team's activities to meet agreed targets.7. Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.8. Establish and maintain a constant corporate focus on quality with emphasis on customer satisfaction.9. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.10. Oversee product testing to ensure procedural accuracy.Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role in the Manufacturing industry.3. Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems.4. Strong leadership and team management skills.5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.9. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.10.
