Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Member Advocate to ensure
service excellence to clients and their members.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve inquiries regarding provider outreach requests, balance
bills, and No Surprises Act assignments
Educate members and providers on health plans, payment
methodologies, and assist with negotiations
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure
confidentiality of sensitive information
Required Qualifications and Education
High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred
Minimum of three years of experience in a call center,
billing/accounts receivable, or healthcare claims adjudication
Familiarity with reimbursement methodologies and benefit
calculations
Proficiency in basic computer skills and system applications
Understanding of healthcare insurance principles and concepts
