office frequently for meetings and earnings calls. Get to Know the
Opportunity: Investor Relations (IR) is a strategic function
responsible for driving effective two-way communication between our
VOYA management team, the company, shareholders, and the broader
financial community. As AVP of Investor Relations, you will play a
critical role in supporting Voya's Finance and IR function,
reporting to the Head of Investor Relations. In this role you will
work closely with the executive leadership team and communicate the
company's strategy, growth opportunities, and business initiatives
in a way that creates clarity, consistency, and widespread
understanding among investors and analysts.Ideal candidates will be
someone looking to build a career within a growing organization
while looking to thrive in and be energized by a fast-paced,
greatly dynamic, and high-visibility role. Candidates will also
come from former investment and research analyst roles and/or will
have direct in-house corporate investor relations experience within
the financial sector. The candidate must be fluent in the capital
markets and possess strong financial modeling skills. Leadership
experience and financial communications experience is required. The
Contributions You'll Make:
- Shape messaging across all external investor and financial
communications, including quarterly earnings news releases and
conference call scripts, investor presentations and discussions
with the investment community.
- Co-lead the quarterly earnings process, including the
development of key earnings materials and drive conversations with
key internal stakeholders.
- Maintain an overall IR strategy that prioritizes clear and
effective communications with institutional investors and sell-side
analysts.
- Lead the creation of investor communications plans and goals,
including development of both tactical and strategic elements to
both utilize and manage against them.
- Manage ongoing investor and analyst activities, including
earnings announcements, investor and industry conferences, investor
bus tours, non-deal roadshows, and other events. Be comfortable in
frequent contact with clients, including CEO, CFO, IRO, and other
senior leaders.
- Interact directly with client shareholders and covering
sell-side analysts, discussing client business attributes,
collecting feedback, and reacting to investment community
informational needs.
- Monitor and perform sell-side valuation models and analyses and
provide guidance on effectively setting expectations around future
performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to provide competitive
intelligence and insights to the executive team.
- Ensure junior staff is trained, supportive of team efforts and
paying sufficient attention to detail.
- Help articulate the company's strategy, financial results,
growth opportunities, and business initiatives to current and
potential shareholders and analysts.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis as well as
deliver market intelligence to key partners
- Take a leading role in the development of investor
communications materials for events such as quarterly earnings,
non-deal roadshows, conferences, and investor days
- Assist with articulating the firm's ESG strategy and interact
closely with business units to develop materials and insights in
support of the overall Investor Relations strategy
- Drive the adoption and test new technologies to rapidly improve
the across the efficiencies across Investor Relations program
through greater adoption of automation and AI Minimum Knowledge &
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business /Finance/Accounting or equivalent
work experience required.
- 8+ years of experience within the capital markets, including
either with a sell-or buy-side firm (highly preferred), investor
relations agency or in an IR role at a public company. Investor
relations-specific or Wall Street experience a must for
consideration.
- Experience in leading and managing coordination of Investor
Days
- Experience managing a high-performing team with proven track
record of empowering and leading team to achieving results.
- Proficient in financial modeling and in-depth financial
analysis.
- Excellent writing skills, including experience writing
financial news releases and presentations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required, including
ideating, strategizing, and pitching communications
strategies.
- Experience with relevant data platforms, including FactSet,
AlphaSense, S&P/ IHS datasets as well as proficient in MS Excel
and PowerPoint.
- Results-oriented, proactive and self-motivated to anticipate
upcoming client projects and deliverables.
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate good judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
- Innate desire to provide excellent service to clients and a

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means
comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below
annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for
this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base
salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash
incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on
the role to reward the achievement of annual performance
objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for
candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and
refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time
of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the
posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location,
work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill
level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for
part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number
of hours to be regularly worked. $180,000 - $210,000Be Well. Stay
